Framelab was founded 2003 by Gerald Igor Hauzenberger and Nina Slatosch.We develop and produce documentaries and feature films for cinema, TV and multimedia. Recently, we are focusing on working with young directors, helping them to realise their projects and develop their own creative style.
Our main focus is on political documentaries with a daring and innovative approach. Some of our films have been realized in coproduction and and sold to many TV-stations.
Our documentaries have won – among others – the Austrian Film Award, The Golden Eye (Zürich Film Festival) the FIPRESCI Award, the Wiener Filmpreis and the Erasmus Euromedia Award.
